Appliance Installation on the Gold Coast
Connected properly. Working first time.
New kitchen appliances need to be installed by a licensed electrician in Queensland. FitElec connects ovens, cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers and other fixed appliances for homes and businesses across the Gold Coast. We make sure the circuit is the right size for the appliance, the connections are made safely and everything is tested before we leave.
What we offer
- Oven and cooktop installation — Electric ovens and induction or electric cooktops installed on a dedicated 20A or 32A circuit as required by the appliance specifications.
- Rangehood wiring — Ducted and recirculating rangehoods connected to a switched power circuit, with ducting co-ordination where required.
- Dishwasher connection — Dishwasher power and water connections made correctly, with appropriate isolator switches and RCD protection.
- Hot water system installation — Electric storage and heat pump hot water systems installed with the correct circuit size, timer and ripple control connection where applicable.
- New circuits for appliances — Where an existing circuit is not the correct rating for a new appliance, we install a dedicated circuit from the switchboard.
- Commercial appliance connection — Three-phase and single-phase commercial kitchen equipment, commercial dishwashers and other commercial appliances connected to specification.
Why choose FitElec
- Licensed electrical connections required — Fixed appliance connections must be made by a licensed electrician in Queensland. DIY appliance wiring is illegal and can void your home insurance.
- Correct circuit for the appliance — We check the appliance specifications and your switchboard before connecting. An undersized circuit is a safety risk.
- One visit for the full job — We bring the right gear, make all the connections, test the appliance and leave the job tidy in a single visit.
- Fast turnaround — New kitchen going in? We work with your kitchen installer or builder to co-ordinate electrical connections at the right stage of the project.
- Local and reliable — Gold Coast-based and available when you need us, without the extended booking wait times of larger companies.
